Kelsey is a educator and a screenwriting consultant with an eclectic background and a passion for helping new and experienced writers navigate challenges in the writing process.

She began her teaching career in the English Department at Boston College, where she taught both introductory and elective courses in writing, literature, and film. She later worked as an instructional designer at BC’s Center for Teaching Excellence, where she designed and facilitated pedagogy workshops and provided specialized consultations for instructors. A PhD candidate at BC, she is currently working on her dissertation, which focuses on representations of queer characters in film and TV adaptations.

Kelsey is a faculty member at The Second City in Chicago, where she teaches screenwriting and sketch writing. She graduated from The Second City Film School in 2022.

She also works as a freelance screenwriting consultant, working with writers one-on-one and running recurring group writing workshops. For more information on offerings and rates, please contact her.
